Burghill & Tillington Cricket Club.

Welcome to the website of Burghill & Tillington Cricket Club. The club was accepted into the Worcestershire Cricket League in the 2008 season in Division 4 South and after back to back promotions Division 2 will see the club play in the highest standard of cricket in its history. The club was a founder member of the Herefordshire Cricket Association and last won the first division title in 1992. The second division title was won in 2001 and in 2005 the club finished runners up in both the league and cup competitions.

The 2006 season was one of stabilisation on the field but there was significant progress off the field with major ground improvements. In October 2006 the club gained the prestigous Clubmark accreditation, which confirms our commitment to being a safe, effective and child-friendly cricket club. We are only the fourth Herefordshire Club to gain the Clubmark accreditation.

2007 saw the club winning the Marches League Cup competition for the first time and finishing runners up in the league. It was a fitting way to end our tenure in the Marches League. We wish the league success in the future.
